Adapter for recording audio from the airplane cockpit

New product

PJ-REC1 is an adapter enabling recording of radio and on-board communication from the cockpits of ultralight, commercial and general aviation (GA) aircrafts. It has built-in electronics that adjust the audio signal level to the standard required by recording devices. It works by capturing the audio signal from the on-board intercom. It is easy to use because it does not require any modifications to the on-board installation. The PJ-REC1 adapter is inserted using a PJ plug and socket between the pilot's headphones and the on-board intercom, and an additional 4-pole 3.5 mm jack plug is connected to the recording device. The adapter uses a TRRS plug in the AHJ standard, compatible with most smartphones and tablets equipped with a 3.5 mm jack, and after using additional adapters also with other devices such as cameras or voice recorders. PJ-REC1 is compatible with intercoms and aviation headsets equipped with a PJ-055 plug in both single and two-channel versions (mono or stereo).
